Best Deodorant Subscription UK 2026: What You Actually Get For Your Money

Best deodorant subscription UK: what Wild, Fussy and Lifelong really cost per month, how easy each is to leave, and what to check before signing up.

AAdam Webb·28 October 2026·6 min read·luxury

A deodorant subscription sounds like the easy option: set it up once and never run out. In practice the best deodorant subscription UK buyers can find is the one that costs least per month of actual use, ships without fuss and lets you walk away cleanly. Price per refill is only part of that.

I run Lifelong, which sells one, so weigh my view accordingly. I have tried to be as fair to Wild and Fussy as I would want someone to be about us, and I have checked their prices rather than guessing.

What is the best deodorant subscription in the UK?

The best deodorant subscription in the UK is the one with the lowest cost per month of use, free delivery, plastic-free refill packaging and no friction when you pause or cancel. On those tests Lifelong leads: £6.75 refills, free worldwide shipping, cancel any time. Fussy is cheapest to start, and Wild is the best known.

Who does a deodorant subscription actually suit?

If you already know which deodorant you get on with, a subscription saves you a job. You stop running out on a Monday morning, and you usually pay less per refill than you would one at a time.

It suits you less if you are still experimenting. Natural deodorants work differently from person to person, and it takes some people a few weeks to settle in. Buy a single refill first, give it a fair run, then subscribe.

It also helps to have somewhere safe for post. Anything that arrives by courier and needs a signature defeats the point.

What to check before you subscribe

Most of the grief with subscriptions comes from the small print, not the product. Here is the list I would run through with any brand, ours included:

  • Cost per month, not per refill. Divide the refill price by how many weeks it really lasts.
  • Delivery charges. A cheap refill with a delivery fee on every order is not cheap.
  • How you cancel. Can you do it in your account, or only by email or phone?
  • Pause and skip. A pause button is the difference between a subscription and a stockpile.
  • Where it lands. Does it fit through the letterbox, or does it need signing for?
  • What the refill is wrapped in. Plastic-free packaging is only a feature if it is stated plainly.

On your rights, Citizens Advice says that for most services bought online you get a 14-day cooling-off period, but after that it is down to each supplier's own cancellation policy. It also warns against simply stopping payments before you have checked what the contract requires. Read the terms before you click.

Best deodorant subscription UK: how Wild, Fussy and Lifelong compare

All three are refillable. All three sell a natural formula you can have on repeat. The differences are in price, packaging and how easy it is to leave.

Wild

Wild has the widest range and the biggest name. Unilever announced it had acquired Wild on 1 April 2025, and the founders said the move would help extend their mission to more people. That is simply the ownership today, and it will matter to some buyers and not to others.

I could not confirm a current Wild subscription price from its own site, so I will not print one. Check the checkout before you commit.

Fussy

Fussy is the cheapest way in. Its own site lists starter packs at £15, and the 40g refills are around £5 at Boots. A Holland & Barrett listing puts a refill at about six to eight weeks of daily use. Delivery charges vary between its pages, so check them at the till.

Lifelong

Lifelong refills drop to £6.75 each on subscription, a 25% saving on the normal £8.99. Shipping is free worldwide on every subscription order. You get three refills every six months, posted through your letterbox, and you can pause, swap or cancel at any time.

Cost per month: what you actually pay

This is where cheap refills and cheap months part company. Lifelong says each refill lasts around two months. Three refills every six months therefore covers a full year with six refills, with no gaps and no stockpile.

  • Lifelong: £6.75 divided by roughly two months is about £3.38 a month, or £40.50 for a year of refills. At the normal price, the same six refills would cost £53.94, so subscribing saves about £13 a year.
  • Fussy: £5 for six to eight weeks works out at roughly £2.70 to £3.60 a month, based on the retail price and the listing's refill life.

So, honestly, the two are close. Fussy's refill is cheaper to buy, and may be a touch cheaper to run, depending on how fast you get through it. Lifelong's case rests on the other tests: free shipping, no gap in supply, and packaging.

There is also the applicator. Lifelong's is bought once and refilled for good: Lifelong Vibes is £14.99 and Lifelong Luxe is £49. That makes the first year of Vibes about £55.49 in total, and around £40.50 every year after.

Packaging and getting out

Every refill system has a footprint, so ask what yours arrives in. Lifelong's refills come in 100% plastic-free packaging, and the Vibes applicator is made from ocean-bound recycled plastic. For the premium end of the market, our guide to the best luxury refillable deodorant in the UK covers the Luxe in more depth.

On leaving, the test is simple. If you can pause, swap or cancel at any time without writing to anyone, you are in control. If you have to work to find the button, you are not.

Where Lifelong is not the right choice

There are honest reasons to pick something else. Our refills are natural only; we do not make an antiperspirant, so if you need one, a subscription from us will not solve that.

The refill is also a powder you mix with water at home, which is a slightly different routine from a pre-filled stick. Some people like it. Some find it a faff. If you want the lowest possible outlay on day one, Fussy's starter pack is the cheaper door to walk through.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a deodorant subscription cost per month in the UK?

It depends on the brand and how long a refill lasts. On Lifelong, £6.75 per refill lasting around two months comes to about £3.38 a month. Fussy's £5 refill, lasting six to eight weeks, is roughly £2.70 to £3.60 a month.

Can I cancel a deodorant subscription at any time?

With Lifelong you can pause, swap or cancel at any time. With any brand, check the cancellation terms first, because Citizens Advice notes that after the 14-day cooling-off period it is down to each supplier's policy.

Do the refills really fit through the letterbox?

Lifelong ships three refills every six months straight through your letterbox, so you do not need to wait in for a courier.

How long does a deodorant refill last?

A Lifelong refill lasts around two months. Fussy refills are reported at six to eight weeks of daily use. Your own figure will vary with how much you apply.

Is a deodorant subscription cheaper than buying one at a time?

Usually, yes. Lifelong's subscription price of £6.75 is 25% below the normal £8.99, which is about £13 saved over a year of six refills. Compare delivery charges too, because they can erase a saving.

Ready to make the switch?

Small choices, real impact. Refillable deodorant, plant-based refills, and a lifetime guarantee.
